Few things are worse than watching your phone battery hit the red zone when you’re traveling, especially when you need it to pull up a boarding pass, request a rideshare, find directions or access a reservation.
That’s why I always recommend traveling with a portable power bank. Just remember to charge it before your trip and keep it in your carry-on where you can easily get to it.
If your battery is running low and you have a limited amount of time to charge your phone, don’t despair! Turning on Airplane Mode while it’s charging will reduce your phone’s wireless activity, allowing you to charge it a little faster.
And don’t forget to charge your phone itself before heading to the airport. TSA officers may ask travelers to power on electronic devices during security screening.
Future you will thank you when you’re not sitting on the airport floor next to the only available outlet. 😂
This is the portable power bank I use and recommend.
