Uncork New Faves at Upcoming Maryland Wine Festivals
“Let us celebrate the occassion with wine and sweet words.” ~ Plautus
Along with blooming flowers and warmer weather, Spring also ushers in a variety of fun events such as wine festivals.
Now that you’ve learned all about Maryland wine, it’s time to get out and taste some!
One of my favorite ways to discover delicious new wines is to go a wine festival. I think they are so much fun! I can’t wait to go to a few this year.
Never been to a wine festival? Boy, are you in for a treat!
Most of the time, the cost of admission will get you a free wine glass to use for unlimited tastings from the participating wineries (unless you’re a designated driver).
In addition to being able to taste a variety of amazing local wines…
…you’ll also be able to:
Grab a bite to eat at one of the featured restaurants or food trucks
Check out the beautiful art, jewelry, and more offered by vendors
Enjoy live entertainment
Maybe even have your (or your child’s) face painted 😉
